Hello!

 I am a sugarcrafter and an artist, and one of my great joys is exploring the medium of sugar as an expressive art form, finding ways of using sugar pastes, royal icing and crystallised sugar to create sugar pictures and sugar sculptures. These experiments have also helped me develop new ways of decorating cakes, especially the art of Patterned Pastes where intricate patterns are formed in sugarpaste, marzipan and even pastes for making sugar flowers.  Within my site I have created the official record of Taste of Art 3, an exhibition of sugarcraft also exploring sugar as an art medium, which I had the pleasure to coordinate in May 2002 at Guildford House Gallery in Guildford, Surrey.
